OUR STORY
This business was built by
the one who remembers.
The one with the camera. The full photo albums. The saved ticket stubs and the playlists made for specific road trips. If that sounds familiar - you're in the right place.
Hey, I'm Christina - memory-obsessed human and founder of Memoria Magnet Co.
Since I was a teenager, I've been the one with the camera in hand. Photo albums stacked high. Playlists made for specific road trips. Saved ticket stubs from shows I never wanted to forget.
I've always believed that memories matter — that photos, sounds, and scents have the power to transport us back to the people and places and moments that shaped us.
For years, though, I watched those photos do what most photos do. They piled up in a camera roll. They got buried. They became the past - slowly, quietly, without my permission.
I wanted something different. I wanted the moments that mattered to be present in my daily life - not locked in a device I had to unlock and scroll and search to find them.
So I started making magnets. For myself, and for anyone who felt the same way I did.
My fridge is covered in them now. And I catch myself smiling at them every single day - at the holiday we took fifteen years ago, at my son at ages he will never be again, at the face of people I miss. In a way I absolutely would not be doing if those photos were still just in my phone.
That is the whole point. Not the magnet. The smile.
Memoria Magnet Co is based in Plimmerton, New Zealand. Every order is handcrafted by me, personally, with care - because I know what these photos mean to you.
"We're not selling magnets. We're giving your most important moments somewhere to live."
The things we won't compromise on.

01
Memories deserve to be seen.
A photo that lives in your phone isn't really being kept - it's being forgotten slowly. We believe the moments that mattered should be present in your everyday life, where they can find you when you least expect it.

Handmade means something.
Every Memoria magnet is made by hand, in our Plimmerton studio, by a human who understands what's in that photo. That's not a marketing line - it's how we've operated since day one, and it's not changing.

Small things carry big meaning.
A 5cm magnet shouldn't be able to make someone cry. And yet. We've learned to never underestimate what a small, well-chosen object can hold - and what it can give back, years later, on an ordinary Tuesday morning.
