Bring your memories to life — literally.

With our magical Add-On, you can embed a short voice note, special song, playlist/video or other web link directly into one of your photo magnets. 

How it works

You choose what you would like to embed inside your magnet to bring your memory to life and upload the link/file path to it via this page. Please ensure to upload the photo that you would like the link embedded in again so that are clear which magnet it is going inside. 

We then carefully embed it into your magnet. A small ♫ symbol will be added to the front of the magnet to identify it as a playable magnet (this will usually be in the bottom right corner but it will depend on the colours in your photo). When your magnet arrives, simply hold the back of your phone to the magnet (usually in the mid-top area) and a link to play your audio/video/other file will appear (no special apps needed). 

You can choose to add:

• A saved audio/video file from your Google Drive such as a personal voice message (e.g. “I love you”, a child’s laugh, a story). Just make sure the settings are set to 'public' before you upload it.
• A link to a public song, video or playlist (e.g. Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.). Please note that if you embed a link to a paid subscription service the person scanning the magnet will also need an account to listen to the link in full.
• Any other publicly available link (e.g. to a website)

The magic we use is passive and doesn’t require batteries, and it will last for thousands of plays. 

Important Details:

• If you’d like multiple magnets to include audio/video/other file, please purchase this add-on for each magnet. For larger custom quantities please get in touch via hello@memoriamagnetcompany.co.nz

• Please upload:
  • The photo you’d like the link embedded in (even if already uploaded in your main order)
  • The link to your audio (e.g. Google Drive voice note, Spotify playlist, website etc.)

• Note: once embedded inside the magnet the audio/video/website file path cannot be changed.
